Tutoring - $50 an hour
Reading, Writing & all things Language Arts for grades K-12 & adults, Math & English as a Second Language (ESL)
Parents are able to take advantage of over 29 years of teaching experience by requesting Tinitia Tutors for their students. Tutoring sessions are custom- designed to fit each student's learning style while meeting his/her educational goals. Parents receive feedback after each session & periodic progress reports outlining how their student is succeeding & what areas need developing. Faith-based tutoring is a fundamental aspect of our services at Tinitia Tutors. We aim to create a positive and supportive environment for our students by incorporating prayer at the start of each session.

Mentor Coaching & Homeschool Support
Whether you homeschool or not, you may find yourself needing some advice about the next step in your child's career. Tinitia is available for one-on-one mentor coaching to all families based on their educational needs . No concern is too big or too small. She is willing to hear it all. If you or someone you know has a need and can use experienced and helpful advice, don't hesitate to call or email.
With 17 years of homeschooling experience & four of her own homeschool graduates, Tinitia offers hands-on help to parents in coaching & mentoring, one-on-one constructive feedback, teaching tips, creative strategies, encouragement and more. Families with special needs learners can also benefit from this service due to Tinitia's background as an educator for special needs' learners.
For parents who want their child to be homeschooled or receive independent instruction, Tinitia Tutors (TT) comes alongside to support their homeschool journey in several ways:

Students can receive in-person quality lessons prepared and taught in several key subjects weekly by a TT team member.

Students can study and work on parent-generated or independent academic lessons in a safe, motivating and encouraging atmosphere with a TT team member. TT members are able to assist students in understanding and completing their lessons.

Tinitia Tutors can generate curriculum for parents who are needing homeschool support.

Reading & Writing Evaluation - $60
If you need an informal yet comprehensive assessment of your student's current reading skills, this service meets that need. With observation and key skill assessment strategies, Tinitia provides written evaluation results to the parent/guardian for their academic records. Evaluations are a stand-alone service and can be used to create a strategic plan to enhance your student's success in reading & language skills.

Writing & Editing Service
Tinitia is available to create original poems, as well as proofread, edit & copy edit your written works. In so doing, she offers the feedback and insight needed to elevate your writing, along with the language and grammar support you're looking for. Juniors Book Club
Juniors Book Club for Kids will cause your child to fall in love with reading! Each book club session, your child will enjoy reading and sharing children's books with other book lovers. See Juniors Book Club for more information.
